About Mountain Biking in Park City, Utah

Park City Bike Park at night in Park City, UT by Ross Downard

Park City boasts an extensive trail network of 500 miles of public access trails designated exclusively for non-motorized recreation.

This exceptionally well-designed and maintained trail system is anchored by the Mountain Trails Foundation – Park City’s governing trail body – in conjunction with the Snyderville Basin Recreation District and the Park City Municipal Corporation. With long and fast descents, technical sections and features, heart-pounding climbs, multiple bike parks for all levels, and world-class ski resorts providing lift-access mountain biking, Park City is as versatile in terrain as it is breathtaking in scenery.

The International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) designated Park City as the first Gold Level Ride Center. Only five other locations around the globe share that title -an exclusive group for a proud few. With a combination of ample amenities and world-class singletrack, Park City has become a premier mountain biking destination.

Mountain biking in Park City is a complete experience. Take the whole family out for afternoon rides on gentle rolling hills. Or catch the free bus up to the Silver Lake Lodge at Deer Valley Resort, ride the Mid-Mountain trail across Park City Mountain and end at Canyons Village for a free concert. Ride the chairlifts up at any of the resorts and hit the downhill trails, and you’ll see why Park City has world-class biking to match its world renown skiing.
